Complete Your Credit with RentReporters and Experian!

We’re excited to announce our partnership with Experian, which means at last, you can report your rent payments to all 3 credit bureaus!

Get Started

It’s taken RentReporters over 8 years to ensure your on-time rent payments are recognized by all 3 credit bureaus. Finally, we’re completing that picture for you. Our first file was delivered to Experian on 7/3.  We anticipate going live once processing is complete, in approximately 4-6 weeks!

Why is this such a big deal?

Now, no matter which credit bureau a lender uses to pull your Vantage Score, they’ll see you take your rent obligation seriously.

FAQ

When will Experian reporting go live?

We sent our first file to Experian on 7/3/2024. It usually takes about 4-6 weeks for approval and processing. We’ll keep you in the loop and let you know as soon as the first file has posted to their database!

What do I need to do to ensure my rent payments are reported to Experian?

    It couldn’t be easier.

    1. Make sure your billing info and your payment method is current.
    2. Make sure your lease is current – You can see this on your dashboard via our mobile app or by logging in.
    3. Enroll in RentCheck – Don’t wait for your landlord to get back to us to verify your rent history. Take control by enrolling in RentCheck and making sure it is linked to the account from which you pay your rent.

How can I track the status of my reporting to Experian?

We’ll send you email updates about your Experian reporting. For real-time updates, download our mobile app and enable push notifications so you’re always in the know!

Will my rent history be reported to Experian?

Yes! We’ll report up to 24 months of rent history from your current lease. If you have past leases that ended within the last 24 months, we’ll include up to 24 months of history from those leases too.

What if I don’t see my rent payments on my Experian credit report?

If you don’t see your rent payments on your Experian report after we have notified you, first check that all your account details are up to date. If everything looks good and you still don’t see it, reach out to our support team via chat.
